PHOTOS OF THE WEEK / APRIL 7TH, 2016
Here we go with this week's version of "Photos of the Week". I want to remind my readership again that this is a unique blog! If you go to Google and type in "Photos of the Week", you will find other companies that do photos of the week, but, they are for specific styles only. You will find the Photos of the week for Photo journalists, or News agencies, or specific magazines, but, no one is doing a "Photos of the Week" just for Photographers. So, when I do this, I search among all those posted on Facebook, twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and then go through the magazines, because they often will have "Photos of the day" or pick a photo of the week, but, often, I find better photos than what they have by the time I go through all my sources. You will notice, that I often pick from magazines, because they have some very good photos. I also protect the photographer and publisher as much as possible. If I see a picture, and I can't identify the photographer, I will not post the picture. If you see a picture that you think is incredible, that somebody posted, it may be worthy of "Photos of the Week", but, if I can't tell who took the picture, I won't post the photo. Somewhere along the way, someone took off the name of the photographer, and he or she is not getting the credit they deserve. So, hopefully, you understand my position on selecting these photos. They do come from real good amateurs, and professionals alike, and I do try to make sure that they are inspiring to all of us who just want to learn to be better photographers. With that said, let's show you this week's picks:
