# * !!!! *#*# WOW !!! C E L E B R A T I N G 1 0 0 !! * + # ^ *** !!

Yes, today marks my 100th blog, or 100th post since I opened this site.  And it has certainly been a good time for sure.  And I owe my success to you!!  This blog continues to grow, and in fact, I am surprised at how big this site has got in such a short time.  This site started just last year on August 3rd, 2015.  I remember when I first started my blog, trying to figure out how to get a readership.  And I started my own photographic Facebook account, separate from my personal account.  And that way I could go searching for people interested in photography.  I don't remember how I went looking for people who liked photography, but, it seemed to work.  And now, you have all become real good friends of mine.  And I wanted to share with you today, the top 6 most popular blogs or posts I have ever created since this whole thing started.  To some of you who have been following me for some time, you won't be surprised, to others, you will be very delighted.  To some of you, I want you to know that you continue to receive hits on your personal biography blog, and will soon be part of the top 6.  I invite each of you to look at these again, and maybe take a look at all the 100 and see if there is something you would like to review yourself.  With 100 views, there has to be some that may intrigue you more than others.

Lets start off with the most popular blog or post I have ever done.  And I was shocked when this happened.  As I post these blogs, I also post them to some of the most popular web sites, such as Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Pentax, Fuji, and the more popular Photo magazines like Popular Photography, Digital Photography, etc.   Well, this one time, Fuji picked up on one of my blogs, made some comment on it, and reposted it to their own website.  I remember waking up one morning and taking a look to see how my blog was doing overnight, and was in shock, because just overnight I had over 300 hits, and growing.  Wow, I was trying to figure out where that came from and what blog produced that results.  So, I researched it, and found out this one was the magic one.  It is a good one, and you, too should take a good look at it again.  If a professional company like Fuji thinks ever photographer should read this, then, uh, yeah.... this is a good one:

Thas was a good Christmas present.

The next one:  Came about after viewing the many photographers on Facebook, and other sights, I was surprised at how many photographers were shooting in Black And White.  And, having come from working at a photo store, and seeing the many photographers doing black and white, and taking a class in black and white, and also, falling in love with Ansel Adams, I had to do a special blog called:  THE ART OF BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY.  This one came in at number 2.  I think that those who worked hard at doing Black and White Photography, told all their friends and neighbors that "Look, Black and white photography is not a dead art,  Look at this".  And then it was shared by many.  So, thanks to those artists and photographers who shared this with the world.  It was a great addition to my "Special Edition" series:

Wow, December was good for me.  That #2 was also in December last year.

The number 3 most popular goes to another one of my "Special Edition" blogs done on a biography of a very special talented photographer from France.  I was attracted to her photos because of her hauntingly beautiful black and white photos of animals.  It was like she had them pose for her.  Simple photos of rare animals with either plain black or white backgrounds, that just made the photos spectacular. "FIG SAUVAGE PHOTOGRAPHY"  has been very popular with everyone.  Besides being a beautiful girl, she has created some beautiful images that, as I put it:  "you just want to hang these photos on the wall".  This was my first experiment in highlighting photographers, and she set the bar high.  She has her own website now, her own Twitter account, and doing very well as a professional photographer in France, and I appreciate that she spoke good enough English for us to communicate well enough to put together this blog on her.  Thank you Fig, for being an inspiration, and I invite everyone, once again, to visit her blog again.

The #4 most popular blog I did since this whole thing started was also a "Special Edition" series of mine.  I had done a Photo tip session on "How to do Street Photography", followed up by a gallery of "Great Photos of Street Photography".  This, of course, seems to involve a lot of the Black And White photographers, but, a special group of people who are involved in this special art.  I carefully went through and hand picked those photos that I thought were really eye-catching to me, and probably 10 or so good street photographers were highlighted in that edition.  And that blog exploded as well.  So, congratulations to those street photographers for pulling off the #3 spot:

And finally, the #5 most popular blog I have done was not surprising, but, on "How to do good Pet Photography".  We all love our pets, we all love wildlife.  So, I did a combination course on how to take good photos of our pets, and wildlife.  And it turned out to be a hit.  Our household has always had pets, and we have enjoyed them as part of the family.  They give love back and never hold a grudge.  And the world, who has pets, obviously reciprocated.  So, this turned out really well for me too.  So, hats off, and thanks to all you pet lovers.  Here is the best blog on Pet photos / Wildlife photos, that came in as the 5th most popular blog I have created.

Well, that's it for today.  Thanks for going back in time with me.  Thanks for your support.  Wow!  100 blogs, or posts today !  Started just 7 1/2 months ago.  My first blog, I think I got 7 page views that week.   Today, thousands, and probable next month will hit close to 10,000 page views.  That is phenomenal, and I appreciate your support.

I am trying to create a theme to my blog, and a logo, and it's just in the creative stage right now.  But, pass this on to all your friends:
