THE ART OF BLACK AND WHITE
PHOTOGRAPHY
____________________________
Is this a dead art? The answer is NO, NO, NO. This is an art that, even though everything has gone digital, to create a photo in Black and White, I think takes some incredible talent that is almost harder to create than some color photos.
It takes some special talent to create a good Black and White Photo. To capture the right type of subject, to capture all the gray tones and contrast just right, to capture the mood that is created in Black and White, I think is difficult, and seems to be reserved by a select few artists. As I search for the usual "Photos of the Week", I often run into these artists who have taken, and produced the most amazing Black and White Photos. And I think their talent needs to be displayed to the whole world. Take a look at these photos, and see if you don't agree, that there is something special with these Black and White photos. Congratulations to these artists who have captured this art the way it should be.
